Digital Input Commands

DI_Reads

This function code is used to read the status of a group of

contiguous D/I channels.

Arguments

Return Value

int DI_Reads ( int hConnection,

BYTE bytSlot,

BYTE bytStartChannel,

BYTE bytCount,

DWORD * dwValue);

hConnection: The handle for an I/O connection.

bytSlot: Slot number of the I/O module, from 1 to 32.

This parameter is inactive for the ioLogik

E2000 and R2000.

bytStartChannel: Specifies the starting channel.

bytCount: The number of channels to read.

dwValue: A pointer to the contiguous D/I channel’s

values; each bit holds the value of one channel.

A bit value of 0 represents the digital input

status of the start channel. A bit value of 1

represents the second digital input channel’s

status. The values of the unused bits are

random.

Succeed MXIO_OK.
